Mol died as a hero

Letters, Normal

I WOULD like to convey my heartfelt condolence to Tony Taia and his two lovely children – David and baby Tala – and to the family and relatives of policewoman Selly Mol, including her Mt Hagen colleagues.
I shed tears because Mrs Mol died a hero.
She died while on duty, in the course of her duty when she and her male counterparts went to arrest a wanted criminal.
Mrs Mol died when a hand-grenade exploded in a terrorist-type attack, a first of its kind in Papua New Guinea.
I salute you, Mrs Mol.
You were a brave and strong woman to go out there to carry out your duties as directed.
May her soul rest in peace.
