Monitor routes

Letters

The Yelia local level government (LLG) in Obura-Wonenara, Eastern Highlands has endorsed funding in its financial executive council to conduct awareness on coronavirus.
The executive council has designated its LLG management to create an awareness team to provide information to the people regarding Covid-19, a pandemic that is thriving around the world including PNG.
Yelia LLG has a disadvantaged population of over 30,000 who have limited access to government services.
The LLG is hoping to partner with the Obura-Wonenara district development authority and the provincial government to counter fund awareness on Covid-19.
I call on Yelia LLG citizens to adhere to the state of emergency controllers and Government’s directives during this period.
The movement of people along the main routes: Marawaka-Menyamya and Lae, Marawaka-Kerema, Marawaka-Okapa, Marawaka-Obura and Kainantu routes should be properly monitored.
