THE Motor Vehicles Insurance Limited Morata Offseason Rugby League will play its inaugural women’s semifinals at the Kone Tigers Oval over the weekend.
These matches will be attended by National Capital District women’s commissioner Elsie Siki who will award the player of the match. The incentive will boost the confidence of players.
Since MVIL stepped in as sponsor, the competition has given unemployed youths a new lease of life as they look to turn their lives around through rugby league.
There is a lot of respect from the senior players as they try to educate others to accept refereeing decisions. This came into light when new president Samson Metofo took over the reins this season.
Meanwhile, the experienced Mumuts face JV Bulldogs tomorrow and Megusa Sisters meet M3 Bulldogs on Sunday.
Mumuts and Megusa Sisters are the favourites to snatch these matches and secure grand final berths.
