MORESBY Northwest MP Sir Mekere Morauta has condemned the damage done on a bus dropping off staff at Morata.
He was angry when he found out that the 15-seater bus he had presented to the Cheshire DisAbility Services was damaged at Morata while it was dropping off workers after work.
Sir Mekere condemned the attack on CDS staff, who dedicated themselves to caring for persons living with disabilities, and the extensive damage to the vehicle’s windscreen.
He said there was no place for people who were sick in the head to go around attacking innocent and defenceless persons and
Sir Mekere was advised of a commitment by a senior Ela Motors staff in Port Moresby to repair the damaged windscreen.
He also appealed to business houses in Port Moresby to help repair the vehicle.
