TWO coffee cooperative groups under Apo Angra Angna Kange (AAAK) Coffee Cooperative have signed deeds to release their land to develop coffee mills.
The Mingaimugl Cluster 32 under the Angra Cooperative in Kerowagi district, Chimbu, and the Kesevaka Cluster 17 under the Apo Cooperative in Henganofi, Eastern Highlands, signed the deeds with the management of AAAK Cooperative.
They received sawmills to mill timber to build warehouse and wet coffee mills.
General manager of AAAK Coffee Cooperative Brian Kuglame said the signing of the deeds was necessary to give legal effect to any coffee development activities to take place on the land.
Kesevaka leaders Kups Billy, Kosovi Hnkea and Jimmy Soga signed to release their land on Thursday last week.
