Organisers of the John Kaupa Sports Initiative in Moresby North-East are calling for registrations for next weekend’s matches.
The electorate has been divided into two divisions for the rugby league and soccer matches from Oct 27-28.
Division one will have its matches at the Unagi Oval.
Division two will have its matches at Bomana.
Division one president Jeffrey Bomai told The National yesterday that registration was open.
Men’s rugby league will have ‘A’ and ‘B’ grades while women will only have an A-grade for both sports across the two divisions.
The registration fee for A-grade teams is K300 and K200 for B-grade sides.
The deadline for registrations is Wednesday.
“For more information on club registration and the event itself, I can be contacted on 79009141,” Bomai said.
Bomai said payments should be made to the ‘John Kaupa Sports Initiative’ account and receipts presented to the organisers.
