THE Moresby South Motu-Koita netball competition is set to wrap up its regular season this weekend with organisers ready to roll out the finals at Koki’s Southside Fitness Centre this month.
Competition coordinator Asi Mou told The National that this weekend would see final round matches for the intermediate (Under-21) and senior divisions with the top-four teams to advance to the finals.
“Pari One remains undefeated in the intermediate division followed by Mahuru Two while Kirakira One and Vabukori Two are tied for third,” she said.
“All all the intermediate sides have about two to three games left before we finalise the standings for the finals.
“After we’ve completed the regular matches and have a final table, the first and second teams will play each other with the winners advancing to the grand final.
“The losers will have another chance as they play the winners of the match between third and fourth. The winners advance to the grand final.”
For the senior division, Mou said the two Kirakira teams would advance to the finals with the top-two sides.
