ROBIN Bazzinuc has been appointed Morobe’s deputy administrator (corporate governance and management).
He replaces Murewe Zurenuoc who had served for 38 years in the public sector.
Bazzinuc declined to comment yesterday on his new appointment. But his predecessor Zurenuoc said he was a capable person and would do well in the position.
Zurenouc said he left the public service to spend more time with the people.
“That is why I started a volunteer organisation that will be closer with the people, especially on the human development front,” he said.
He said the other reason was his health.
On the challenges he faced, Zurenouc said it was having the right people in the system at the right time to do the job without corruption. He said human resource needed to be developed to help development.
“The Morobe administration is very big with a huge population. It has a five-year plan within the 30-year Kundu Vision which has to be implemented effectively.”
