RAI Coast MP James Gau has targeted education, bridge and road infrastructure as priority projects for implementation under his district’s five-year development plan.

“I come from a least developed district that does not have good road access and so I give my priority to two sectors, which is education, road and bridge infrastructure projects,” he said in in Port Moresby last Friday.

“I do look at other sectors such as health, law and justice and economic. I finally got Rai Coast High School upgraded to secondary level which needs more infrastructures to meet requirements for a secondary school.”

Gau said the District Services Improvement Programme (DSIP) funds and the District Support Grants (DSG) had enabled his administration to build double classrooms and feeder roads.
