MENGE people living at Muk, Kar Tanim and Roglomp will have a road to access services, thanks to MP Joe Koim.

Anglimp-South Waghi MP Koim gave an excavator for the Kintimb-Roglomp road project during a groundbreaking ceremony at Anglimp High School on Wednesday.

Koim had earlier given K2 million for the upgrading of Panga- Kurkur Koim road.

He made a commitment to upgrade the Anglimp-Kurki road.

The excavator is one of four for upgrading  roads in his electorate.

Koim said the K10 million for the electorate would be used in a transparent way.

He told people there he would pay them redress by providing basic government services that they had lacked over the years.

He urged people to put their political differences aside and work towards developing the electorate.

A candidate in last year’s general election, Pawa Wai thanked  Koim for helping develop the electorate.

He has described Koim as a God-fearing leader who served people.

He said Koim had delivered much for the electorate in a year.

“This is a way forward for leaders because they were elected to do so,’’ Wai said.
