MP helps build seawall
The National, Tuesday February 2nd, 2016
A SEAWALL has been built to protect a village cemetery near the sea from further erosion.
Madang MP Nixon Duban assisted Panudau Islanders in Riwo to build the seawall to protect the cemetery from being washed away.
Last Saturday, Duban visited Riwo to see the completion of the seawall which started last year.
He thanked the islanders for working together to complete the project.
Duban said differences between leaders and supporters had always hindered development and urged everyone to put their differences aside and let development take place.
He said infrastructure and development were priorities for the Government.
Duban plans to visit other islands in the electorate to assess how best he could assist them.
He has funded the building of new roads and upgraded existing ones which now link the rural areas.
