MP Kua praised

Letters

I WISH to comment on Sinasina-Yongomugl MP Kerenga Kua’s approach to political pressure.
During the Lutheran Synod held at Mogl in January, Prime Minister Peter O’Neill and Kua were together, shook hands, ate from the same table and prayed together.
A real sense of brotherhood was there at the time.
Having seen that, some people of SSY (Sinasina-Yongomugl) seized the opportunity.
They pressured their MP to cross the floor of Parliament to the Government side in the name of getting big money into the district.
Since then, the silent majority have closely monitored Kua, but there is no sign of him crossing over to where the grass is greener.
Congratulations to the MP.
You have shown maturity.
As a true Melanesian leader, your actions tell your people that you are a real man.
Your people are not yoyos.
Saying one thing in the beginning and doing the opposite is childish, like many politicians are doing.
We the silent majority of SSY are with you, no matter what.
Please continue to fight hard, as the country is in desperate need of a strong leader to redirect the government to the right path.
