PEOPLE receiving small loans from the Anglimp-South Waghi micro finance scheme are urged to use the money wisely.

MP Joe Koim said they must not waste the opportunity to improve their lives.

He said once they repaid the first loan, they could slowly increase the amount until they reached K10,000.

“It all depends on how you play your part. K1 million has been put aside to help you,” he said. “You are the driver now so it depends on how you manage your driving. If you play it safe, you will acquire something good. If you fail, it means you will become a failure.

“You won’t need any qualification. All you need is to apply for a loan and start off anything so long as you repay the loan.

“I’m calling on you to make things work out well in your life. It’s not for me to benefit but for you to gain a better life.”

He wants everyone to live a better life by getting involved in money-making activities.

“God will reward when you start to play your part,” he said.

A total of 873 people have received their first loans and are slowly repaying them.
