MP pleads for patience

 EAST New Britain regional MP Leo Dion has appealed to people, groups, organisations and institutions seeking financial assistance to understand that there are processes and procedures to follow before funds are released.
Dion said it was important for people to know that often projects were on hold due to unavailability of money.
Dion’s office said it had been receiving requests for funding proposals and assistance from individuals and groups and it was vital for them to note that the entire province had to be taken into consideration to ensure a fair and equitable distribution of resources.
Dion’s office has called on the people who were still waiting for their projects to be funded to be patient with government processes.
