MP pledges to complete classroom

Wabag MP Dr Lino Tom made a commitment to help Waipu Elementary School complete its double classroom through its district services improvement programme (DSIP) funds.
The classroom was built through TFF funds and was not completed as expected due to shortage of funds.
Tom’s pledge was relieving news to the people of Neneo clan of Yainairin tribe in the electorate.
The Yainairin Neneo Kem Association Inc have been spearheading the fundraising drive to complete the classroom.
They called on the government, stake holders, donor agencies, corporate bodies and international partners to assist in completing the classroom in time for its 2020 academic year.
Waipu Elementary School was established in 2006 and registered with the Enga division of education.
