ESEKIEL Anisi, the young Ambunti-Dreikikir MP-elect is confident he will bring services to his electorate.
Anisi, the son of the late Alex Anisi, the national president of the People’s Progress Party, said being part of the government would make service delivery to his electorate easier.
“Rot bai hard sapos yu stap lo opposition (The path will be hard if you are in opposition),” he said.
Anisi said three former prime ministers had respected O’Neill to be prime minister and now young leaders must return the respects. He said he voted for the prime minister on party lines because portfolios had been fairly distributed to all political parties in the Alotau camp.
Anisi said it was encouraging for a first term MP to have experienced the sharing of ideas with other MPs for the development of their respective electorates.
