MP urges students to make use of facilities

KUNDIAWA-Gembogl MP William Onglo is urging Andy Siure Primary School students in the Waiye local level government area to study hard using the facilities in the school to be successful in life.
Onglo made the remark during the opening of a four-in-one double classroom and staff house last Wednesday.
He said the school had given him a challenge when the management used the facilities carefully so he added on K50,000 for their infrastructure development.
He said last year they supported tertiary students around the country and this year they focused on primary, secondary and elementary schools in the district.
Kundiawa district development authority had just distributed K1.1 million to schools in the Waiye and Kundiawa urban LLG Councils, he said. The official opening of the buildings was made by Onglo and Sinasina-Yongomugl MP and Kerenga Kua.
Kua, who is also the Minister for Petroleum and Energy also contributed K100,000 to the buildings.
Onglo said his priorities were in education and agriculture.
The managing director of TNA Holdings, Gerald Philips, donated 1,000 books to the school library and encouraged students to read to acquire more knowledge.
