Mt Hagen show boosted

TININGA Ltd has given K25,000 to the Mt Hagen Cultural Show committee for the event on Aug 18-19.
Managing director Pat Duckworth presented the money on Friday.
Show manager John Bonny and treasurer Pauline Grove received the money on behalf of the committee.
Duckworth said the Mt Hagen Show was a world-famous event and an integral part of modern history that all Western Highlanders were proud of.
He commended the show committee under the leadership of Bonny and Grove for its efforts to take the event back to its former glory.
Bonny said they were expecting many traditional singsing groups to participate, as well as sky diving and other events.
