She arrived from the foot of the highest peak, Mt Wilhelm, in Chimbu, to display her honey products at the Apec Women and Economy forum at the International Convention Centre, in Port Moresby, recently.
She also owns a guest house and a fish farm.
She was invited by the Department of Youth, Community Development and Religion with 18 other women entrepreneurs to the forum.
Her produces Mt Wilhelm Organic Fresh Honey which is sold in hotels and Divine Word University.
She hopes to access other markets in the country after the forum.
She started her business with the guest house.
“Honey came later. I have a guest house and a fish farm with 32 ponds. We switched to honey and we saw a good income because tourist come (to the guest house) once in a while.”
