THE MelanesianTrustee Services Ltd (MTSL) presented K10, 000 towards the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) last Friday to assist it in hosting its 2013 conference.
ISACA is a non-profit, independent organisation which advocate for professionals involved in information security, assurance, risk management and governance.
PNG chapter vice-president Justin Wohuinangu said ISACA’s role was to provide members with knowledge to achieve their career goals.
“We endeavour to encourage our members to attain the Certified Information Systems Auditor, Certified in Risk and Information Systems Controls, Certified Information Security Manager and Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT,” he said.
“We help in their continuing professional education by providing conferences and workshops to ensure that our members are up to date with the latest trends in information security, assurance, risk management and governance.”
