ETSU Mungkas, Kurti Andra and Hard Rocks will play two games this weekend as Port Moresby soccer association enters round four of competition.
Mungkas, currently leading the competition on 13 points after three wins and two draws, will be a team to reckon with as the season marches on.
Under the guidance of Joe Sabadi, the team from the Autonomous Region of Bougainville had been rocking Bisini Park with attractive football during the weekends.
Club president Russel Tsuga, who is also the PMSA technical director, said he has a good team with the inclusion of several representative players such as Tau Winnie and Kila Leana.
The club also imported four players from Bougainville to boost their campaign in preparation for the possible inclusion in the upcoming NSL season.
In the opening match at the weekend, Mungkas will play Gordons Mates.
Formerly known as Blue Kumuls, the Mates would be lead by former international Nasa Wangu and Brian Tani.
On Sunday, Mungkas will take on Muiah Brothers.
The brethren from Rigo are winless and a positive result against Mungkas would be a huge morale booster for them.
Hard Rock, with former University players Eric Petrus and Desmond Waku at the helm, will certainly provide good competition for other premier teams.
The Rockers will take on PMSA development team – the Port Moresby School of Excellence XI in the midday clash.
Coming from a 3-1 victory over Babaka last week, the Wayne Taylor-coached team should give Rock something to think about tomorrow.
On Sunday, Hard Rock will take on the Kurti Andra.
Better known as KA, the boys from Manus will rely on Michael Lohai to play a leading role this weekend.
