Muruks in trouble

Letters

THE news about the Muruks being fined K20,000 is not a surprise to the supporters and people of Southern Highlands.
Team officials have been neglecting the players by not providing better conditions, transport to and from training, breakfast, and only giving light meals or biscuits or scones for dinner.
The Muruks’ bus has often been locked away because the officials are afraid that the players will sell it to recover unpaid wages and allowances.
The Muruks fans, who are the future Muruks players, want to know what has happened to the funds.
The administrator of Papua New Guinea Rugby Football League Stanley Hondina should investigate the club and look at the books and the players.
Players are usually recruited then dumped to keep the older, senior players happy and secure.
Over to you, PNGRFL.
