THE National Alliance Papuan bloc has applauded the government for a fair distribution of the nation’s wealth and have thrown their support behind the government.
They said many of the projects funded through the 2011 supplementary and the 2012 recurrent budget were never funded in the past four years.
They said they took part in all decision-making and declared their undivided support for the Treasurer Don Polye and the government.
During a press conference, the members declared that they were comfortable with a government that equally distributed goods and services to the people and would continue their alliance despite the outcome of the Supreme Court decision tomorrow.
They said they were not mere spectators in decision-making but were part of an equal cabinet.
They reaffirm their support for what they believed was right for the country.
They said fighting corruption, providing free education, providing pocket money to students, the tax reforms like the tax threshold on low income earners were what they believed were responsibilities the government ha taken head-on.
