Nambawan puts K300mil into new Waigani project

NAMBAWAN Super Limited is investing about K300 million to build a new shopping mall and residential properties in Waigani, Port Moresby.
Construction work on the Rangeview Heights mall is underwayopposite the RH Vision City Mega Mall and next to City Hall.
The investment and property manager for Nambawan Super, Dannis Gouda, confirmed that the investment was being undertaken by Nambawan Super in partnership with the NCDC.
According to contractor Lamana Development Limited, the development will include residential townhouses, shopping mall, secure parking, a park and green areas for residents’ use.
The commercial manager for the project, Jackson Zabala, said the project was expected to take about four years to complete.
“It’s funded by Nambawan Super in partnership with the National Capital District Commission,” Zabala said.
“We are the contractors.
“So it’s an investment for the benefit of Nambawan Super, the superannuation fund and its members.”
