Nambawan Super, CPL announce discount programme

Business

NAMBAWAN Super and City Pharmacy Ltd (CPL) Group this week announced a new discount programme that will benefit the health and wellbeing of the superfund’s members.
The programme will see members saving 33 per cent off prescription medication at any of City Pharmacy’s 32 outlets nationwide.
The programme started yesterday and ends on Dec 31.
CPL managing director Mahesh Patel said his company was celebrating 33 years of existence and the discount programme was a gift to Nambawan Super members.
“Good health is not only essential to individual livelihoods but also critical in a nation’s development,” Patel said.
“It’s more so important during these very unprecedented times of the Covid-19 pandemic.”
Nambawan Super chief executive officer Paul Sayer said CPL Group was offering a significant cost-saving discount which members could benefit from in these tough times.
“We’re extremely proud to be a part of CPL’s 33rd anniversary celebrations, and grateful they could celebrate with us and our members through this exclusive Nambawan Super member-only discount programme,” he said.
Members have to present their membership cards and a valid doctor’s prescription before paying for prescribed medicine at a City Pharmacy outlet.
Patel said CPL had qualified and accredited pharmacists that could dispense prescription medication and offer advice on over-the-counter remedies for minor ailments.
“This partnership with Nambawan Super is also in line of our group’s vision statement of “Helping the people of Papua New Guinea live healthier and better lives”.
