Nandex calls for discipline as kickboxing comp starts

KICKBOXING at the PNG Games started yesterday with well-known PNG kickboxing president Stanley Nandex urging all participating teams to maintain stern discipline during the games.
“Kickboxing is very big in the world and it is important for the code to be held in the PNG Games every time,” Nandex said
“Papua New Guinea is part of the World Kick Boxing Federation and with the PNG Games, we have that opportunity to expose our untapped talent in kickboxing.
“I am privileged to be here in Kimbe to overseas things here and I am sure we are capable of strengthening our code here in the country through the PNG Games.
“2018 will be an interesting year for kickboxing around the world because of the World Championships in Argentina and I am looking forward to select some good kickboxers in this event.
Kick boxing began its round one yesterday and will continue on with round two today with the finals to be staged on Friday.
