THE National Narcotics Bureau has helped disabled people in the nation’s capital by giving a laptop computer for them.
Bureau deputy director general Kiria Kotange presented the laptop computer worth K3,350 to NCD Disabled Organisation chairman Dennis Puio last Wednesday.
“We have to help the disadvantaged people and, with our small assistance, we hope will assist our disabled in their work here,” Kotange said.
He said the bureau had in the past helped non-governmental organisations, church groups and women groups with small donations.
NCD Disabled chairman Puio thanked the bureau for the contribution.
“We have struggled in our operations and we depend on donations from individuals and organisations.
“We would like to thank NNB director-general John Mapusa and his deputy for the assistance,” he said.
