Naris lucky winner of promo

LEILAH Naris, pictured, is the lucky winner of this week’s Stop&Shop July Trolley Dash promotion.
Yesterday at the Harbour City Stop&Shop in Port Moresby, she collected K1,021.70 worth of groceries in this K2,000 in two-minute trolley dash.
Naris, who works at PNG Power Ltd, spent K51.65 on Monday night at Stop&Shop in Harbour City.
She received a call the next day that she was the winner.
Naris thanked Stop&Shop for the promotion.
“There were so many people screaming but I was busy collecting,” she said.
“I came just before we do the trolley dash and I saw what I wanted, so I didn’t just go and grab anything.
“Some people told me to just push everything into the trolley.”
She lives at Korobosea and was accompanied by her husband and 10-year-old son Lathan.
Customers who shop at Stop&Shop for K50 or more qualify to participate in the Trolley Dash Lucky draw.
The promotion will run through July.
The eight stores of Stop&Shop will hold their own weekly draws.
It means there will be eight lucky winners doing the trolley dash each week, where they can collect goods worth K2000 in two minutes.
The eight winners in the first week are: Angela Kiapin (Badili), Nichola Kelek (Town), Arunya Hoada (Koki), Leilah Naris (Harbour City), James Jingasibau (Boroko), Asap Kila (Waigani Central), Mary Vani (North Waigani), Shane Dumusi (Rainbow).
