Naru condemns killings

THE Morobe government will today discuss the two killings in Lae on Saturday to help police hasten investigations, Governor Kelly Naru says.
Naru said he would be presenting issues about the killing of Dr Alphonse Rongap and the Southern Highlands student, Graham Romanong at the meeting.
“I condemn the actions of the culprits involved in both murder cases.
“On behalf of the people of the province, I am sending our condolence messages to the families, friends and colleagues of the late Rongap and Romanong.”
He described both killings as “senseless and animalistic”. Naru is appealing to the relatives, friends and the colleagues to remain calm.
