Naru funds church events

MOROBE Governor Kelly Naru is continuing with his funds-donating ministry to churches in the province. 
With the Morobe Governor’s office still undergoing maintenance and refurbishing, Naru is working from home.
Naru has donated K20,000 to the Mumeng District National Women’s Conference Communication Committee, and K20,000 to the Sangan Circuit of the Yabim district for their centenary celebration in Siliwarang Parish, donated K10,000 to Yabim district youth conference in Finschhafen and K10,000 to St Hiob parish in Lae Circuit, to host the Lae Circuit Conference. 
Naru said the money was from his own pocket and not government money.
He assured Lutherans in the province that he would continue to cater for church work with funding earmarked for church work in his provincial budget.
Work on renovating the governor’s office at the Tutumang building in Top Town is expected to be completed next month.
