Morobe Governor and Christian Democratic Party leader Kelly Naru says he is busy with matters in the province and will make it clear where he stands on Friday in regards to the no-confidence vote against Prime Minister Peter O’Neill.
The leader of Papua New Guinea’s biggest province, with 10 MPs including himself, said this yesterday when asked to say where he stood.
“I am currently busy with matters in the province,” Naru told The National.
“I will debate the motion and give my views on Friday.
“I will give my views on the floor of Parliament.
“Be patient.
“We deal with the issue when we cross that line.
“Meantime, work goes on as normal.”
Naru said earlier this year that he did not support the no-confidence vote and had not placed his signature on the Opposition-sponsored motion.
