Nasfund brings in Super Saturday to make life easier for busy members

Business

Nasfund will be extending its office hours in Boroko, National Capital District, and Lae to Saturdays from 9am to 12pm for general enquiries.
This will start tomorrow.
The fund’s ‘Super Saturday’ service will assist members with the:

  • Lodgement of housing advance applications;
  • balance statement printouts;
  • ID card processing;
  • member online registration;
  • member details update lodgements; and,
  • General enquiries.
    All unemployment withdrawal lodgements and follow-up of payments will continue to be done during normal business hours.
    This initiative is intended to provide access for members at their convenience, who otherwise are not able to visit Nasfund’s major traffic centres in Port Moresby and Lae during the week.
    Port Moresby and Lae cater for 70 per cent of fund membership.
    “We are cognisant of the high expectations of our membership especially around services,”
    chief executive Ian Tarutia said.
    “Internet speeds, link connectivity, power reliability that drive our systems are sometimes beyond our control and it affects our ability to serve members quickly and efficiently.
    “What we control is our accessibility to members.
    “We are now providing
    more time to address our
    member enquiries in high traffic centres.”
    Tarutia said ‘Super Saturday’ would complement the Nasfund member online portal service which was already available to members via mobile phones or computers.
