Nasfund describes SMS service as ‘phenomenal’

THE growth in Nasfund and NCSL members checking their balances via the SMS facility has been phenomenal as reported in the company’s e-newsletter for this month.
The statistics for December last year to March was indicative of the success that Nasfund had with their SMS service extending the reach of their client servicing to the offices, homes and streets anywhere, anytime using this self-service.
Total text balance queries last December was  64,199 with 2,010 queries per day.
Total text balance queries for March was 96,675 with 3,118 queries per day which represented an increase of 55% in daily transactions.
Save balance queries for last  December were 16,349 with 527 queries per day and March with 20,174 with 650 queries per day.
Meanwhile, Nasfund, Curtain Brothers and Bank South Pacific Consortium will build a new office complex at the expanding Harbour City location.
Plans are now being finalised for a June commencement of BSP Haus, 34% owned by Nasfund.
 The7,745sqm commercial building has already been pre leased.
Meanwhile, plans for redevelopment of the Grand Pacific Hotel in Suva, Fiji (60% owned by Nasfund) is on track for starting forth quarter of this year.
The plans call for 116 deluxe rooms, three ballrooms, two meeting rooms and a gymnasium.
