Nasfund focuses on innovations

NATIONAL Superannuation Fund Ltd (Nasfund) has moved a step closer towards its vision of being the first choice provider of superannuation and other financial services in Papua New Guinea.
Nasfund has selected Datec’s enterprise document management solution (EDMS) as an information and communications technology (ICT) solution that could support its business operations through improved use of technology.
The EDMS offering from Datec is ViciDocs: A suite of powerful EDMS products with rich features for all documents including archiving, workflow, security, automation, managing, indexing and rapid search all within the PNG Environment.
Nasfund’s joint chief executive officer Ian Tarutia recommended the Datec ICT solution to the Nasfund board with the recognition of future proofing his business operations.
“When I saw the Datec solution in action, it answered a number of business needs for today and our future…”
Nasfund’s focus is on innovation to ensure its customers receive the highest level of service, according to Mr Tarutia.
“Compliance is a core focus for us too, and the Datec DMS addresses this with ease.
“We have an existing system that is inhibiting our business … we have made a decision to implement the Datec document management solution as the features it offers are head and shoulders above the rest of the offerings in the PNG market today,” Mr Tarutia said.
