Nasfund members urged to join society

NASFUND Contributors Savings and Loans (NCSL) chief executive Vari Lahui has urged the 500,000-plus members of nasfund to join NCSL to enjoy its benefits.
Lahui said during the inaugural online employer regional conference on Tuesday.
The society currently has 130,000 members.
“Nasfund has over 500,000 members,” he said.
“There is still a large number of nasfund members that are missing out on the benefits.
“So again this is a direct appeal to members of nasfund that are not yet members of NCSL to join up, become members of NCSL, enjoy the great benefits that NCSL has provided and will continue to provide to members over the years.”
He said one of the benefits was having a Poro Debit Card.
“The Poro Card account is an everyday transaction account that our members can use.
“It is separate from the normal savings account that our members have at NCSL, previously we just have the savings account, and with the introduction of Poro in June last year, now means that members will have a transaction account which can accommodate salaries.
“The Poro account is separate from the general savings account, Christmas savings and the education savings account,” Lahui said.

    Fan.

  • This NCSL plea should be directed at employers. NCSL ought to work closely with the businesses to capacitated this.
Media release evidently has not bumped up membership.
