National Party prepares for AGM

THE National Party will conduct its annual general meeting at the Lae International Hotel, Morobe, on Nov 24.
National Party fundraising committee chairman Steven Kilage and his co-chairman Simon Sanagke donated K20,000 to party executives last week to ensure they had the financial backing to host the meeting.
Kilage said the AGM was basically to elect the new party executives in preparation for the 2012 general election.
He said soon after the AGM, the National Party would hold its fundraising where the Deputy Prime Minister Belden Namah would be guest speaker.
