FINANCE Department are currently leading the NCD Public Servants netball competition after the third game of round one with a comfortable 11 points ahead of Telikom (PNG) Limited and the National Broadcasting Corporation (NBC).
NBC and Telikom women are equal on second with 10 points, while Fisheries are on nine  points, Internal Revenue Commission seven and IBS Port Moresby General hospital on six points.
NBC proved too strong beating IBS Port Moresby General Hospital 29-13 at the Rita Flynn Courts on Saturday.
Lilian Yaruso and her daughter Sophie led the women from 5-Mile to a resounding victory over their opponents from 3-Mile. Finance Department also recorded a lopsided victory over Telikom 40-29 to further consolidate their top placing.
With the current performance, they look to dominate their premier division this season.
Twenty-nine teams are participating in the competition this season in various divisions.
Meanwhile, organisers are now appealing to those teams, that  have yet to pay their K300 team affiliation fees to do so by the end of this month.
There are some players who have yet to pay their K20 registration fee.
The NCD Public Servant Netball Association executives also held an executive meeting last week to discuss their financial reports and deliberated on issues about club affiliation and registration.
