NCDRU competition leaders Royals take on fifth-placed Wanderers

THE National Capital District Rugby Union (NCDRU) competition heads into round 10 at the Murray Barracks Oval at the weekend.
On Sunday, competition pacesetter Royals are up against the fifth-placed Wanderers in the main fixture.
Royals are unbeaten after nine games.
In the early encounter, the ninth-placed Southern Chiefs take on Central Highlanders (8th).
Tomorrow, Marlins (4th) lock horns with Spartans (2nd) while Defence (6th) face off with Greyhounds (7th) in the main match of the afternoon. Saints are on a bye.
The match of the weekend is between Marlins and Spartans.
NCDRU director Sailosi Druma said the competition was picking up momentum with Royals setting the pace and Spartans right on their heels.
Druma said it would be an exciting season as they head toward the semifinals.
