NCD’s Garden Hill junction gets K1mil makeover

NEARLY K1 million has been allocated by the National Capital District Commission for the maintenance of the Garden Hill junction today, says an official.
Deputy city manager at the engineering department Simon Vai told The National that the maintenance of the junction was basically to fix drainage issues and pavements.
“The project will cost close to K1 million. The commission has advised motorists through a public notice in the daily newspapers to use alternative routes in the city because this part of Garden Hill junction will be under maintenance,” Vai said.
The work will be completed in three weeks.
