NCP-OSL marketing agreement

 THE National Petroleum Company of PNG (NPCP) signed a condensate marketing agency agreement with Oil Search Ltd recently in Sydney. 

The agency deal would allow for Oil Search to market and sell PNCP’s share of the condensate produced from the Hides and other PNG LNG project related oil and gas fields in the Highlands. 

NPCP managing director Wapu Sonk said Oil Search was chosen because of its experience in marketing and sales of PNG crude, its commercially competitive bid and also the added offer to provide technical training for NPCP staff in general offtake coordination.        

The deal was signed by Oil Search’s chief financial officer and group secretary Stephen Gardiner.
