NCSL helps Tombui purchase new vehicle

KEVIN Tombui has a new truck, thanks to his decision to save money in the Nasfund Contributors’ Savings and Loans Society (NCSL).
It helped him after he retired to start a small business to support his family and provide transport to the local community. Tombui, 59, from Passam in East Sepik, showed off his truck to NCSL client service officer Noelyn Makmangi outside the officer in Wewak.
He is among those who have benefited from the under-one-roof arrangement to acquire homes, vehicles and small business start-ups.
Tombui is the second person in East Sepik to use the service.
Tombui, a former employee of Kutmor Ltd, has urged workers to have their superannuation funds processed into the NCSL’s Poro account. “The process is fast and convenient,” he said.
The service under the one-roof agreement allows Nasfund to process superannuation payments into NCSL’s Poro account for members who have retired or left employment.
