Efficient service to members and consistently delivering within set service standards is at the top of the agenda at Nasfund Contributors Savings and Loan Society, according to general manger Vari Lahui.
He was speaking last week during NCSL’s first appearance on the FM100 Talkback Show this year.
Lahui, while giving an overview of the society’s financial year and its plans and activities, said they would continue to focus on delivering good quality service to its members to meet their evolving needs and rising expectations.
He said that this was also in line with NCSL’s value statement of putting customer service as top priority.
Lahui said that there were times when the system was down because of disruptions in the communications link and such instances were beyond NCSL’s control.
He said the automation of processes and the introduction of the electronic service delivery channels enabled NCSL to deliver quality service in a consistent manner.
Lahui said this allowed for staff to do more marketing and awareness of products and services, which contributed towards an increasing membership base and increased volume of transactions.
“When we look after our services, the numbers will look after themselves,” he said.
NCSL expects to announce its interest crediting rate in the first quarter of this year after the audit of its 2018 financial statements.
