THE Motu-Koita Netball Association yesterday received K10,000 to prepare for its season and the national championships.
Pacific industries Limited’s Everett Chue presented the cheque at the Motu-Koitabu Assembly Office said they were determined to support sports and communities.
Chue said they believed in supporting sports at the grassroots level.
“Pacific Industries was here post-world war and has been supportive at the grassroots level since then,” he said.
“We do not support a national team but we believe supporting sports in the community and that is more effective. Our support will help the association meet their costs in running their season.”
Motu Koita Netball Association president Kori Toua-Navuru thanked the company for its support.
Meanwhile, Motu-Koitabu Assembly chairman Dadi Toka Jr has promised K5,000 towards the association.
