New buses a hit in township

 RESIDENTS of Madang and villagers along the Madang-Ramu Highway are impressed by the sight of Ramu NiCo’s new buses humming along the road.

The grey buses look like military troop carriers and were shipped in from China.

Ramu NiCo mine transport supervisor, Lee Issac said the five Dongfeng brand buses were for transporting mine workers.

Issac said there were five Dongfeng buses at KBK mine, of which one is used as a service vehicle at the mine site, while the other four are for transporting workers to and from Madang.

Ramu NiCo has coaches for workers as well.
