New home for mobile squad

THE new police barracks at Ganige in Chimbu will be home to the Kerowagi mobile squad MS8 and need landscaping and fencing to complete them.w
Councillor Christopher Gala and another local man John Mogli said electricity was connected by the police department, but some work was yet to be done to improve the barracks.
The two men said a sealed drive from the main highway was needed, a sealed central car park, concrete pathways to all the houses, a central playground for children and parameter fencing with a main gate.
They appealed to all seven MPs in the province to help complete the barracks.
“You cannot say it is the Kerowagi MPs’ problem to complete this barracks but this mobile squad unit has stopped so many  fights throughout Chimbu and we appeal to you to chip in and help,” Gala said.
