New hotel takes shape in Kokopo

NINETEEN new self-contained rooms will soon be available to tourists, guests and the general public in East New Britain with the completion of the Hotel Kokopo.
Expected for completion by mid-2012, the new single level hotel will have a bar, a restaurant and hair salon.
A part of Warangoi Properties, the new hotel is located on Kurur Place, in Kokopo town, and is response to the need for more hotel accommodation because of a surge in business activities in the province.
AAJ Construction is building the hotel, while local contractors have been engaged to do electrical wiring, plumbing and other services.
