New Ireland mum wins K50,000

A MOTHER’S dream of owning her own house for her family has come true after winning K50,000 in the first Bank South Pacific Green Gold cash giveaway draw.
Lucy Kasau, 52, from Djaul Island, New Ireland, was elated and lost for words when told of her windfall by the bank team in Kavieng.
Kasau, a teacher with the Life Bible College, used her KunduCard at an ATM to withdraw K50 and her transaction was drawn for the month of July.
She thanked the bank for the promotion and encouraged her family and friends to use their KunduCards so they too could have a chance to win cash prizes.
 “I’m going to use the money to build a house on Djaul Island and save part of that money and watch it grow,” she said.
“How you bank can change your life forever.
“I am urging all my friends and family to use their KunduCard so they too can win cash prizes in this giveaway,” she said.
Kasau is among 201 July monthly winners who shared K100,000 in the bank’s campaign.
Each month, from July to December, BSP Green Gold will give away 201 monthly cash prizes. 
The monthly prizes are 1xK50,000, 2xK1,500, 3xK1,000, 10xK600, 20xK400, 30xK250, 45xK200 and 90xK150. 
In December, a grand prize of K1 million will be given to a customer.
Bank public relations manager Barney Pondros said: “The more you use your KunduCard, the more chances to win.
“To enter the draw, customers simply need to complete eligible transactions with their cards at any bank ATM, Eftpos device or via mobile banking,” Pondros said.
