KINA Securities Limited (KSL) has announced the appointment of Deepak Gupta as executive general manager Wealth.
KSL chief executive officer Syd Yates in a statement said he was delighted to welcome Deepak, who brings with him a wealth of experience in the wealth management industry to further enhance and strengthen already experienced senior management team. Gupta had held a variety of senior executive roles in leading financial services institutions including Westpac, AMP and domestic New Zealand institutions.
These roles have covered aspects of institutional funds management, private equity investment, funds administration, financial planning and corporate trusteeship.
Gupta holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration from Victoria University, and a Masters of Business Administration from Massey University, New Zealand.
His achievements included development of New Zealand’s first institutional private equity fund for retail investors and leading commercial success of NZ’s largest registry business for its workplace base retirement saving scheme.
KSL also announced that its chief financial officer Chetan Chopra was appointed the company’s secretary.
