National, Normal

NCD Governor Powes Parkop’s new political party, United Democratic Front, will now operate out of the Sir John Guise indoor sports complex.
Party officials yesterday met with PNG Sports Foundation regional manager David Awa to discuss and agree on arrangements for the use of the sports office.
Party president Wesley Sanarup, public officer David Dom and treasurer Justin Yatu jointly thanked PNGSF for the contributions.
Mr Sanarup said it was a milestone for the new party as there was a lot of interest shown across the nation in the formation of the new political party and its operation would be well carried out in the new office.
The new office space is located at the Sir John Guise indoor sports complex.
The party will change its name Social Democratic party in July.
Party membership is open to all the people around the country to join.
A membership fee of K100 is required for anyone to join the party.
