New PA Akunai is right man for job

 I WOULD like to congratulate Samson Akunai for his appointment to the role of the Provincial Administrator of the Eastern Highlands Province. 

It has been long overdue and I would like to thank the National Executive Council for having confidence in him and appointing him to this role. 

Akunai is a qualified professional and very experienced person, who has served with distinction for many years in both the private and public sector.

He is well versed with the public service policies, guidelines and management and I believe he will work well with the current Governor and all the stakeholders of to deliver the much needed services to the people of Eastern Highlands. 

I urge all divisional heads within the Eastern Highlands Provincial Administration and the elites of the province to put aside your in house politics and give him the support he needs to lead the administration.
